If so, there's no way to eliminate them. 9 times out of 10, they are some type of automated 'spider' that utilizes minimal human interaction (typically just to get by the captcha) and then remembers the site and comes back to post... (or so it was explained once upon a time to me by someone on another site)...

Anyway, the best way to 'deal' with them is to click the 'REPORT' icon within that particular post. By clicking this - and entering in a reason and submitting it - it dispatches an email to all moderators / admins letting them know that their attention is needed.

Once we're there, we'll snub the thread and ban the spider/bot/moron. While this is a temporary band aid, it's the best we've got.

So, that said, click the REPORT button when you see garbage like this on our forum. We troll within a lot of the forums here but to say that we read every post that lands here and review every individual that registers here would be a gross overstatement.

FWIW - I think you guys are pretty quick at getting them off. I rarely see the thread up for more than a couple of hours before someone catches it. Yes, it sucks but I give you guys props for keeping it to a minmum. Nice work.

While I sincerely appreciate the kudos, the real thanks needs to go to you guys; the members.

When you 'REPORT' a problematic post, it's dispatched to all admins and mods. From there, if we're close, we can typically deal with it on the spot. Rarely will it go very long once it's been reported to us...

So, that said, thank you, guys and gals. You all continue to make the site what it is and have yielded the success that has been reaped. The people make this site...
