This Site Needs a Chat Room!!!

dont you think??? Its kinda annoying to keep refreshing the page and check when someone has replied... it would save a bunch of questions to be posted and its instant.... what do you think???

I agree though, we do need a "live" chat room. Be nice, hell even an IRC chat would be fine with me. If we can get enough people saying they want it, I would be willing to build one.

I think RockPick & Webmaster would need to dedicate this site to themselves for moderation.

It would turn it into a 24x7x365 day job for them with more junk to watch.

I think an irc channel would be the best bet so the admins here wouldn't have to worry about watching it.

We had chat many years ago, just too many issues.
Rather than go into the history here,

go to 'Advanced Search'
key word = 'chat'
search on 'thread titles only'
for forum choose 'Questions About the Site'

Looks like it died in early 2004.
