Lighten up
Its an ad generated by the content on the page - google Clearly has a customer interested in showing GMC trucks to Ford owners -
This site is not owned, operated or affiliated with Ford Motor Company. As such, it is a commercial entity that relies upon advertising revenue to keep its resources free for its members. I find it humourous that GM and other Ford rivals think that advertising here is an effective use for their money, but I am not going to turn it down. The ads generated by Google are market driven, so if GM drives up the value of ads on the site, other advertisers are going to pay more to take their place. I would be a complete idiot to block them. I'll happily take their money to allow Ford enthusiasts to continue to discuss their passion for free of charge.
x2 what webmaster said. I find it hilarious when Silverado, Tundra ads, etc. pop up here. Well, at least worth a chuckle. Google manipulates the internets far more than most people realize.
So just relax, smile at the idiocy of their advertising showing up here, understand that they are paying to keep this site up and running.
And hey, if you'd like F150online to make a few more cents then click on the offensive ads! Each click generates, I don't know, a little revenue.
