why no FAQ?

I cant find it or is there none? I need info on how to change an alternator on my 99 f150 5.4L.

oh and why no pm boxes?

We had a FAQ a long time ago, but it lingered and died without ever getting updated. FAQ's are often requested, but when it comes time to volunteer and build the content, very few people step up. The forum and its seach capabilities have grown to become a living, breathing FAQ.

Private Messages are available to users that have been registered for at least 90 days and have contributed 100 posts, in order to prevent hit and run spammers. Users that have opted-in can be contacted by email via the forums.
