OT Forum

I think it might be a good idea to have an Off Topic forum. As a very new member looking for F150 info, I'm finding it kinda taxing to search through all the threads that don't have anything to do with this sites main focus.

I think it would really clean things up a bit and provide a much more organized collection of information. It would also give us a place to hang out and talk about anything we wanted.

Looking at the first page of the General Discussion forum there are 25 (or so) threads....almost none have anything to do with the F-150. I think this is where new members will most likely flock to first (I did) looking for site specific information, but there are only a couple of threads that mention anything about the F-150.

Thoughts?

Kes

Kes, this site has nearly 50 highly categorized forums on topics that address nearly every question ever asked about the 1997 to present Ford F-150. The General Discussion forum is just that, general or off-topic discussion. We tend to move technical discussions found in that forum to more appropriate places when discovered. Have you entered the forums from the main forum page at http://www.f150online.com/forums/index.php ??

After an hour or so of looking around after I made that post, I noticed that the General discussion forum was basically being used for OT. Sorry about that. It was just a little confusing because most forums I frequent use the General discussion for site specific info. Just a difference in names, no biggie.

I like the site, there's some great info here.
