Best MPG tune/tuner?

Looking to squeak out some better economy out of my 2006 HD F150, whose got the magic? Computer is showing right at 12.4 mpg, my last truck F150 Supercrew (2005) got right at 15 with a light foot. Talk to me guys...

Your best shot would be a SCT device with custom tunes from one of the reputable tuning houses. Odds are not good that you will see much of an improvement, if any.

Changing driving habits is gonna be the biggest gains.

Is your HD AWD? And your 2005 was a 2wd?

I drive like an old man...still cant get passed 12.6 on computer. Good question on the AWD or 2WD, damned if i know lol. How can that be determined with out putting the truck up in the air? Ya my last truck was indeed 2WD.

Stick your nose under the truck and see if it has CV axles or a front driveshaft.

Might be able to run your VIN online and get some decoding to work and see what the options were

The VIN decoder was a great idea sir...2wd here. And up to 13.1 mpg.

I run custom tunes from both MPT and 5Star, my tune with 5Star gets about 3 more mpg's than my tune with MPT fwiw.
