Just bought a Edge Evolution for my 2004 F-150 4.6 engine. However, several years ago, a friend of mine put a tow tune it in with a Sniper tuner. It seems I have to flash the pcm again to a stock tune to get the Edge to flash the PCM again. Friend is long gone and so is the Sniper tuner....Anyway to get the "stock" tune back in? Thanks for any help...

 

Go back to the dealer or call the tuner. If you have a pc computer they would send you a stock file to download then once that is done the new tune might work.

 

Edge Tech Support should be able to create a stock writer for you to upload to your truck. The only other Tuner that could do this for an Edge would be Bill Cohron at PHP.

There may be a charge for this service, but you should call, since your programmer is worthless at the moment.
