CS canned tunes don't work with my truck

I got a CS just before Christmas and I ordered 3 custom tunes with it. The canned tunes on the CS are messed up. They make my trucks RPMs go to 3500 or 4000 and make the engine sputter if I floor it. It won't accelerate; it feels like I'm in neutral. I've called edge several times and they sent me 2 fixes on Fusion that didn't help. They said to change the fuel filter and that didn't help. Now they're saying that it's the Gotts mod air intake that's causing it. Has anybody else had a problem similar to this? and will the custom tunes from PHP fix this?

That is disappointing if they told you that the Gotts mod was the problem. Don't see how that would be possible.

This was after they told me my fuel filter was clogged up at 64,000 miles. I didn't think the Gotts mod could be the problem either. They said it's messing up the air/fuel ratio by letting too much air in

He's running a K&N filter and an X-Pipe exhaust. If the filter is oiled, it could have fouled the MAF and I'm fairly certain the X-pipe wants custom tuning.

When you return the truck back to stock does it run fine? That alone will tell you if its the truck or your CS causing the issue.

As Jack has already stated it could be the filter oil fouling the maf.....edge needs to get there head out of their arse......

The truck runs completely normal when set to stock. It has the shifting problem when in tow and transmission only tune. I ordered 3 custom tunes from PHP at Christmas

Mine had issues with the canned monochrome. Bills tune fixed it. I will never put a canned device on a vehicle again. It's hit or miss.

What year and model of truck?

I have an acquaintance that recently purchased the Edge CS for his 2010 3v 4.6L F150. He had very similar problems. Edge had tosend him an update in order to resolve the issue. Specifically it took 3 tries. He has true duals and an AFE CAI. The vehicle runs fine now.

It's a 2006 5.4. Edge has sent me 2 updates so maybe a third one will fix it

Edge told me to take the Gotts mod off and put the factory snorkel back in the fender wall instead of the 3" pipe. Is this even worth doing or should I just wait on the custom tunes from PHP?
