Bill's Custom tunes are amazing
That is all
I will update this thread over a period of time. My mpg's seem to keep increasing... I am thinking I might be able to pull off an average very close to 20... we shall see. Stay tuned

Congrats. My tunes work.I'm not sure if they are any better than the canned tunes. It seems to have less power, and my mpg has dropped. Even the Gryphon display is showing an AMPG lower than the Edge. The Gryphon even uses a higher extreme of 40mpg to average it out, when the edge only used 30mpg. The Gryphon should have been showing a higher average due to the range increase alone right?
Congrats on your tune though. I seem to be the only one with issues.

Good day!
Do you have more than one custom tune? If so, are they ALL exhibiting these issues? It is possible (although rare) to have a problem with a specific tune file.
I'd ask for the tune file you are having concerns with to be reviewed whenever that becomes possible. Unfortunately given the device not a whole lot can be done datalogging-wise to help...
I have never experienced a canned tune behaving better than a custom one, all else being equal.
Good luck!

Good to hear you are now officially tuned John, congrats! What tune(s) did you go with? Have you floored it from a stop yet? You'll be surprised when you hear those rear tires squeal for a few seconds rather than a half second 'chirp', I sure was surprised .

The tune I am running is a 93 Performance tune. I also purchased an 87 Performance tune, but I haven't used it much. The 93 is better than stock, but it doesn't seem any better than the 87 Performance tune, and seems lacking to the Canned 91 Performance from Edge.
They said they would take a look at it back in September. Maybe I'm on a queue list somewhere. I have sent a couple of follow up emails, but I haven't recieved any word back since September.

I won't floor it from a stop, but I hit it one a dead street today jsut to see how it did... OMG.. unreal. I got an 87 performance tune but more on the side of economy. An average of 20mpg is not far fetched right now. Im pulling high 20s-mid 30s around town all day long. Its nuts. The power is crazy, and I barely have to get on it. Up shifting and down shifting is mind boggling - fast and firm. He absolutely nailed this. AND the truck at start-up... so aggressive and it has a bit louder purr. When I buy those 94106's in 2 weeks, it will be even better once installed a month or so after. I am thrilled.

Jose I got an 87 performance but told Bill I was concerned with gas mileage. I mad it clear though that I need the power and can't have the truck being a slug He nailed it!
