What all do you have done to your truck and did you order the Gryphon with a custom tune or jst it with the regular tunes on it, what did it cost ya?

Congrats! Now go install it, burn out the rest of your fuel to an 1/8th of a tank, fill the remainer with 93 octane, set it to level 3, and change the timing to 1.5, and enjoy!

so whats the best way to change my tune myself? Like on the Level 1 or two for good MPG and still performance. When it says would you like to custom your tune or something like that i am running them on the just plan canned tunes and selecting no when it asks

Not quite sure, all I found level 1 / trans mode to do was to make the shifting harder and annoying. You could try softening it and you may be able to achieve the 150rpm lower shifts on an easy take off, vs not being able to shift under 2000rpm when babying the pedal.

Mornin'!

The links within this thread may help ya some (ignore the year - process is the same) ... custom settings for edge evolution on 1997 4.6l 4x4

If that cop-out answer ( it's early, lol) w.r.t yer question ain't cuttin' the mustard, You can always try & search fer more all by yerself-like (there are many - also the stickies, and the User Manual has additional info)...

Good luck!

Mornin to ya!

Rise & shine - you gots some ***-chewin' to do! That's a Cylinder # 4 coil/plug issue - and you need to take it back to the place that did yer plugs & tell 'em to fix it.

This ain't a coinkydink, and it's not the tuner doing it...

Good luck!

well all is good now! im very impressed with the level 2 canned tune thus far. i havent driven enough to need to fill up ive been sitting good at bout 15 mph.

i didnt realize that if you sit and idle for a few minutes your mpg drops so much...
