Edge has blank screen

Here lately when I start my 06 FX4, my Edge's screen is blank. It is lit up but nothing is on there. I unplug from under the dash and plug back in it works fine. Any idea why this is happening? Is there any fix? I only noticed it doing this when it is below 20 degrees.

The programmers like edge/gryphon with LCD displays don't like hot or cold weather.
But.........You may want to get your battery load tested.
It can be the cause also.
Edge/Gryphons do funky things when batteries are about ready to die.
Have you tried to contact edge?

Never thought about the battery, it is the original. Might be time to upgrade.

Edge rep finally emailed me back. He told me to update my Evo there has been issues with that problem and updating sometimes fixed it. If not I would need to send it to them to fix. If I have to send it in I guess it would be time to upgrade to a Gryphon.

dont believe what edge told you, you can update it all you want and it will not solve your issue. You have a weak battery. When you start the truck your batterys voltage is dropping to low and causing your edge to freeze up. Had this issue with mine multiple times and there is multiple posts on this forum about this issue.
