Gryphon MPG close to Real MPG!

ok so normally miles/gals is 13.4, the gryphon showed 13.5 not bad?

slowed down from 65-70 to 54-56 and its showing 16+ I will report back next fill up and see hoe close it is!

Makes sense - I get 17 to 18 driving 70-75 but I get 21+ driving 55 on the highway.

2006, 5.4 XLT Super cab 6.5 box.

7,200Lbs full tank.

Anyway, I have went 103 miles at 3/4 tank, in between 3/4 and 1/2 right now, and I am at 130 miles.

so, a large gain, was getting 65-70 at 3/4 tank, thats right at 30 more miles, I might manage 200+ on a half tank now at 55!

youre setup has the least weight and least fuel consumption, and best setup for fuel mileage. im just making a point that your mileage isnt comparable to the majority of f150s on the road. that's all. im sorry if i offended you, i really wasnt trying to.

for example, your setup is drastically different than my 5.4, 3.73, 4x4, and 33x12.8, and to that of the OP. im ecstatic to see 14s on the highway and 12 city.

My Gryphon has always calculated my mileage to be quite close to actual mpg, as long as I do not let it idle much ( which in winter is impossible because I refuse to drive a in cold truck ) and the tire circumference is spot on.

Just what makes your truck that heavy? Thats 3/4 ton weight. These trucks are barely 5500.

And my truck fits your specs, and has Toyo 33"s and I still get 105 -120 miles per quarter tank. What makes yours so heavy to make it consume so much fuel?

If you keep it locked, these trucks cruise at pretty good mileage, mine does anyways

Are you saying your truck weighs 7200 lbs? My 06 XLT Screw 4x4 is no where close to that. Just wondering why yours is so heavy?

I was simply saying that my truck gets better mileage at 55 than 75, and tried to give everyone an idea of just how much better. I'd wager that your truck, and most everyone else's trucks, will show a similar difference. I don't think my mileage is all that great - I've seen V8's get similar mileage.

No offense taken whatsoever - I just didn't know what you were trying to say.
