Edge and NOS

I'm green to this adjusting your programmer thing so bear with me. I was looking at ZEX safe shot nitrous kit it says the only additional part needed is a hand-held programmer to increase fuel enrichment. Could this be done with a Edge Evolution and if so under which category?

you need a custom tune, since you have an edge talk to ase mechanic or just go to powerhungryperformance.com and look into upgrading your edge into a gryphon.

The Edge is for stock engines. Though it does not tend to lean out an engine, I would not use it with NOS, where it is imperative to never run lean. I speak from experience on that part! I would get a custom tune and have the programmer know you are going to be using NOS.

1.) Look into a better nitrous system with a TPS switch and adding a RPM activated window switch.

2.) A custom tuner should be able to create a 'nitrous tune' for you.

Those interested in what air fuel ratio would need to be commanded by the PCM to get proper fueling here is the calculation.

300HP @ 12.6AFR
50HP Nitrous Increase

((300/350)*12.6)+((50/350)*7) = 11.8AFR

You would then convert to Lambda, 0.806.
