another plug?

Alright I got my Edge Evo just came in and ive ran it for 1 day on transmission only, and it seems to be running great and I love it, I just love the shift points on it and i cant wait to see what level 2 and 4 have in store for me. But anyway, as I was installing it, on the end of cord that you plug into the OBDII port, I noticed there were 2 plugins there. I got the main big one plugged in, but I couldnt find where the smaller one plugged into. Can anybody tell me what that is there for? If I need to be more specific let me know, and I will try. I just want to make sure it is not anything critical.
Thanks

Edge has gone to a "generic", multi-function OBDII cable. The extra plug is used for an external sensor. On the Gassers, it would be used for a Wide-Band O2 Sensor (if they ever get made) and on the Diesels it's used for the Pyrometer. You can ignore it.
