I will second what Jack says. I just went from an Edge Evolution to the Gryphon, and am thoroughly impressed! It is a night and day difference from the canned tunes of the Evolution, which IMO means it is a world of difference from the stock tune. I ran the evo for 4 years problem free and was happy with the power/performance.... UNTIL I sent in and received my Gryphon! It is like having a whole new truck! Not to mention the level of service you get from PHP and its knowledgeable customers

Go for it, I'll guarantee that anyone who does will not be sorry! I have the 87 perf, 87 tow, and 91 perf I have only run the 91 perf so far and doubt I will run anything else unless I absolutely had to!

Please look through this entire forum. The main thing you can do is put a raw egg (in it's shell) between your foot and both the gas pedal and the brake pedal. Don't break the egg.

Keep the tires inflated to spec. Try to avoid stoplights and don't let the truck idle, if you're not going somewhere.

In my opinion, a properly tuned programmer CAN help with your gas mileage. It did for me. The favorite ones in this forum seem to be the Edge, Gryphon, and SCT's SF3 and X3. There are others that have their admirers. As I said, spend a day or so reading though the entire forum.
