This sounds like you have "aftermarket" tires? I don't think Ford would have put that sticker on the door, and then installed lower rated tires. Regardless, if you can only inflate to 44 psi, you MAY have to use a higher "squish" factor. Notice I said "MAY". Your tire sidewall construction may be "stiffer", which would compensate for the lower pressure. In any case, the "squish" compensation is a bit of a trial and error value. As you know, Bluejay uses 4%, and I found 3% was right for me. You have to experiment a bit.
