I think both Edge and PHP charge $75 to unlock an Evolution, but I'm not 100% sure if that's right. When purchasing a used Evolution, though, you should expect the seller to return his truck back to stock. This will unlock it from that truck and allow it to program another truck without incurring an unlock fee. You can ask the seller to take a picture of the unit returned back to stock. A "0" will be displayed in the upper right portion of the screen if this has happened. If not, a "1", "2", or "3" will be displayed. If any of those numbers are displayed, the seller has not returned his truck to stock and you should not purchase the unit.

PHP charges $25 to convert an Evolution to a Gryphon, and they charge $60 for each custom tune for the F150.

Check out their website for more details: powerhungryperformance.com. They also have their own forums, even one dedicated to converting an Evolution to a Gryphon. I'm sure you'll find answers to any question about the process you can come up with.
