I believe SCT just released the strategies so any custom tuner should be able to do them. My recommendation is to hit up VMP Tuning. Justin can work his wonders on your truck and make it move out of it's own way.

question about VMP

Have you tried tunes from Troyer? And if so, which one do you think is better and why?

Thanks FordRacer2005

I would like to know who is writing tunes for the 4.6L 3V and hear from some people that run the tunes and see what they think.

I would really like to try some tunes but I don't want to waste my money. Just doing a little research before I spend a chunk-o-cash.

VMP, Troyer and PHP are all good choices. Nothing has changed in the 3 months since you asked the first time.

Thanks Norm. So in the last 3 months has anyone here had any personal experience running any of these tunes in their personal trucks ???

I have been driving diesels for the last 10 years and would like to hear some peoples personal experience with tuning their 4.6L 3V's. I know it's not going to be a dramatic difference like it was on my old powerstrokes that I had chips burnt for them with aftermarket injectors and turbo's.

Thanks for any and all feedback.

Well if nothing has changed lets hear some feedback directly from the users on here. The original poster and many other members would just like to see what kind of gains are out there and what the options are. Awhile ago PHP posted up that they were working on them and havent heard anything else in months. We need to hear some reviews!!!

Leonard, this forum is stuffed with "reviews". You're new here, so take some time and look around. It's pretty clear there are few options available for the 2009 engines right now. That's a good thing. Tuners that CARE do not want to create something that will invalidate an owner's warranty. It's a new beast - working up reliable tunes for it is going to be a "process", and the reputable tuners are still busily turning out tunes for the older vehicles. There's only so much time in a day.
