I've been "collecting" e-mails from people interested in putting down a deposit for the 1997-2003 Gryphon, which should be in later this month. I was waiting until they sort of slowed down, but they're still pretty steady. What I will do is e-mail everyone from whom I have an e-mail tomorrow. I should be placing an order with Edge next week, so it will be your call whether or not you want to give us a deposit to ensure that you get a Gryphon this month or if you want to gamble and see if you might be the 1,000th customer. Ah, I can't wait for SEMA in Las Vegas later this year. Honestly, I'm not sure what I would do.

A Gryphon with canned tunes is usually shipped within 48 hours. Custom tunes -- right now -- are at about a 4-6 week turnaround (that number is based solely on the number of orders we currently have waiting).

Interestingly, a few days ago, I asked Bill if it was possible to use tunes from one truck to the next (assuming they have the same hex code and modifications). He looked at me as if I had two heads! His reply: "I COULD, but that wouldn't be fair. If a customer is paying for custom tunes, he should get custom tunes written just for his truck."

I understand if the wait it too long. I would be happy to recommend another tuner who can help you if you'd like to go another route. Just let me know.

Congratulations!

Congratulations to James B. who just became our 1,000th customer and received a total of $390 off his order!

Drawings for our other 20 winners (customers 1-999) will take place this week, and we will post the information on the forum (and notify winners by e-mail).

Thanks you so much for your business and faith in our company. We couldn't do it without you!

Quick question on the Gryphon. I'm very interested in getting one for my 00 f150 with the 4.6L. Are the canned tunes any different than the edge canned tunes? Also if i buy it now and get custom tunes later, Do i have to send it back to you guys?

Also what gain should I see with it?

Hi there,

Our canned tunes are a little less conservative than Edge's (Bill's done all of them, so it's easy for us to say that!) but are similar.

You can expect gains of

ท 25 HP and 40 ft/lbs (4.6L & 5.4L 2-Valve engine)

for your vehicle. If you purchase a Gryphon and want to add custom tunes down the line, it's all handled via the internet.

More information can be found HERE. Please feel free to ask any other questions you might have.

Hi Corey,
I wonder what customer number I was. I ordered about a year ago... Do you have anything for a 2010 Expedition yet??
