Superchips makes an excellent off the shelf tuner for your vehicle. I have sold many to my customers. Or if you want to go a step further you can contact Mike @ Troyer and have him build you some custom tunes. Either way you will see very large gains in performance and driveability.

Along with Steve Cole in CA, Bill was one of the first diesel tuners. He's been doing it for about a dozen years. CHECK THIS OUT

You want the best fork out the cash for a diesel. not trying to be a jerk off just well diesel tuning you get the bang for your buck

Chevy- EFI more power then a supercrap tuner
Dodge a Smarty
Ford a spartan tune

All have been hand in hand and give the most power and torque than an edge, superchip,or other tuner or chip.

What do you primarily use your diesel for? Just a daily driver? Towing?

yep will depend on the motor on my 2002 7.3 i had a superchips microtuner which was nice but no gauges so i sold it for the edge evolution which i only had a short time since the canned tunes were not iodeal (high egts, lots of smoke) so tehn i had my evo custome tuned by DP-Tuner and life was great. but i hated the time it took to change tunes so i went with a DP-tuner chip. and loved it..

every forum you visit will have a diffrent favorite . Since i been on here i have only just heard of PHP and dont have any info on there tunes. but they have great following with the f150's so it would be worth a shot

other than that 7.3s i say a selectable chip (tony wildman or dp-tuner) or the 6.0 Turbodiesel source form tx tunes on a SCT
