thanks for the compliment bro! and that's with the stroller and car seat in the back lol

Lighten up, Francis.

Get about about a thousand miles on the programmer without resetting the mpg and see if it goes up to 30 on average mpg.

I was curious about the same thing. I finally started messing with custom tuning the canned tunes on mine and on level 3 I got over 20 mpg's today on the way to work. I do have oversized wheels/tires and finally did the math to correct the speedo and such. I do drive like an old lady, but that seemed a little high still. The trip was around 35 miles, I will leave it that way for a tank or two and see if it goes down to prove your theory.

Thanks for the heads-up.

Here's a thread that I tried to explain the theory in. Bill did a much better job, though.

Gryphon Average Econ WAY Off...

Thanks for the advice Nancy. let me go rack up a thousand miles going 60mph on flat road and ill come back with 30 mpg. Oh and Nancy, next time you want to hate on someone's truck you should go on a silverado forum

That's the point. You'll never go a thousand miles on a flat road at 60mph.

I don't see anything in my post about hating on your truck. I could give a rat's ass what truck you have. I was just giving some advice how to properly read the AMPG. But it seems you know it all already in your short time here on earth. Good luck in life.

My parents always told me nothing good ever happens after midnight! Now I realize what they meant! Noticed the post times and maybe the OP should go to bed sooner, sounds real cranky to me!

Guys, let's all of us just cool it. Life's too short to get your knickers in a twist over imagined (or even real) insults. Please don't keep throwing gas on the fire.
