Upsized Wheels & Tires, Need Performance & MPG Help

OK guys, I need some help and advise. I recently upgraded my stock 17" wheels on my 2003 SuperCrew to 20" and it is taking a little more umph to get these bigger wheels rolling. Also, my MPG appears to have decreased from 16-17mpg to 13-14. I am thinking that the bigger size wheels are throwing the speedometer and odometer off and I am probably getting closer to 15mpg but don't know for sure. So I'd like to accomplish a few things:

1) Correct my speedometer/odometer readings.

2) Get a little better performance.

3) Improve my mpg to close to or better than the 16-17 mpg I was getting previously to changing out the wheels/tires.

I am thinking that possibly a tuner/programmer would help me out with these items. Need some advice and guidance. What are my options? Engine is basically stock except the addition on an Air Force 1 Intake. From the brief research I have been able to find so far there are several choices. Any advantage/disadvantage to different brands? What is the difference between the Edge Evolution and the Gryphon? They appear to be the same to me but the Gryphon costs $50 more.

The new wheels/tires make the truck look awesome but I need some help with those items I mentioned above. Any help and advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

The Gryphon is a custom tuned Edge. It's very worth it. If you don't want to spend the extra $50, get a Xcal2 or Xcal3, forget the Edge. The Gryphon or Xcal2/Xcal3 is where it's at.

You want better mileage, and you put on 20 inch wheels? I got news for you pal. That doesn't work. You can't get a programmer to reverse the decrease in mileage caused by your wheels & tires. It's just a fact of life. You want lift & looks, you pay in mileage.

you didn't mention what size tires you have.. on or offroad???
and if your using your onboard comp. of course your MPG are going to be off you changed your tire rim size.
your lucky your still in a truck that has a throttle cable(if I'm not mistaken) so you wont have as much seat of the pants gains as an '04+ would have on a tuner.
