Same SuperChips tuner on more than 1 truck?

Well, my question is what the subject said... can I use the same SuperChips tuner on more than one truck?

Here's my deal. My brother and I have almost the exact same truck. His is an '02 and mine is an '03, both with the 5.4L engine and the FX4 package (drivetrain compatability). I was hoping we could both chip in on a tuner, and re-program both of our trucks.

Oh yeah, I've been doing some reading, and if I get the tuner, I'll be getting it from Troyer Performance. Thanks for any advice.

The deal with the Superchips microtuner is one tuner - one truck at a time. Once you tune your truck, the tuner is 'vin locked' and can't be used on another truck until you unlock the tuner by returning your truck to stock tuning.

also they are custom tuned to your computer code. Unless you have the same computer code, it wouldn't work either.

So, if I were to buy a tuner and use it on my current truck then I decided to sell and buy a new F-150 I could return my current truck to stock setting and use the tuner on the new truck? This is a question I have because I really want a tuner now, but I also have an itching to get a new truck before too long!

1715 tuner will

go from truck to truck. 96-03 gas engine, just return it to stock and then go to next truck.

used my 1715 on my truck (1996 5.0) until 9100 showed up, then used the 1715 on 01RedS'crew's truck (2002 4.6). He's still running the 1715 now! Only down fall is I may not get him to part with it---seems he's "IN LOVE".
