Yearly Correction is Done. Pic Heavy!

Usually try to do once a year full correction, This one was the toughest yet since i had to get overspray off most of the truck. Have 18 hours into it and just finished it up this even.

1.NanoSkin Sponge for the decontamination
2.Megs 105
3.Megs 205
4.Black Fire Sealant
5.Black Fire Carnuba
6. Megs Hyper Dressing for wheels and Tires.

Of course when i decide to do the full correction the truck was the dirtiest it has been in a long time so that didn't help time wise. Here is the Before Pics of the truck.

First thing was to start getting the overspray off the hood, I used the NanoSkin Medium Grade sponge and it worked very well.

After doing the whole hood i decided to do the M105/M205 process to get the remaining overspray off along with the slight marring the sponge left (medium grade). Came out very nice!

Next is the usually compound, polish, sealant, wax and here is the outcome. The truck looks absolutely bootyful

Looks awesome! Of course we'd expect no less from you. Damn I love that color!

You might want to consider ditching the M105 and trying the new M101. Trust me, it works so well and with so much less pain that you'll never look back.

Fix that hole in your ceiling (took me a while to figure out what that was), then get on a plane, get up here, and do mine next!

Looks awesome - great job!

Thanks Tom! I will be getting the 101. I usually do a once a year order and that is definitely going to be on the list.

I keep telling my self I need to try something else besides BlackFire but I get such good results it's hard to switch.

I have a few guys on fb groups trying to get me over to the Shine Supply side but haven't decided yet, do you know anything about them?

The M101 should be used sparingly. Use it too often and you'll be removing too much paint. I only use it for serious correction work - either on a whole vehicle or just spot work. It's sooo much better than M105 though.

As for switching from BlackFire, I wouldn't if I were you. The stuff works quite nicely and why change if you're getting results like that!

As for the Shine Supply stuff, sorry, I have no experience with it at all.

Love that color. Nice job!

I didn't know they made soap that can change the color of a black truck.

Purty truck, Coy. I just finished getting the snow spray and mud off my truck since the weather has finally warmed up enough for me to turn the outside water on again. I certainly didn't do as perfect a job as you did, but it IS clean and polished. Since I have to drive over a dirt road to get to my house, it seems pointless to really "detail" it.

Damn, our trucks seem to get bigger and bigger each time I do this!
