What to do about tree branch scratches?

I am looking at buy a Navy FX4 and it looks like one side was run along some tree branches. There are no noticeable scratches until you look at the side very closely and you can see scuffs the whole length of the pickup. I can't feel them with my fingers, do you think this is something that would come out with some elbow grease?

What would you guys use?

Meguirs also has a 3 step paint process

Step 1 is for scratches like that
Step 2 is to deepen the color
Step 3 is wax

I destroyed the Paint on my Durango and F-150 offraoding in the sticks. The Meguirs stuff really restored the paint to like new...especially Step 1. The Step 2 process makes dark colors (black especially) really pop. And then you need to re-wax (Step 3) to replace that what you removed.

If they're only scuffs and you can't feel them then it sounds like it's on top of the paint and will come out. I had some recently on my truck, which is black, from some pine trees. My process to get rid of them: clayed, Megs speed glaze 80 with Porter Cable da, orange pads, and then wax. Looks as good as new

Here is a picture of the scuffs. The ones I'm concerned about are the long horizontal ones. I know the other spots may require more touchup.

If you really would like to get it out yourself I suggest that you read the detailing sticky. I'm pretty sure M105 will take those out but you will need some type of maching (DA, PC, etc) b/c using your hand will kill you, lol. I probably would read that sticky and attempt it myself.

That is pretty easy to fix with a DA or a Flex. I see many trucks with Trail Pin Stripes.

You are not going to properly fix that by hand. Sorry for the bad news.

If you were in the N.Texas area, I could help you out.

If you want to fix it yourself you will need to make a mild investment, or you could also find a detailer in your area to fix it.

If a guy could get another $500 knocked off the price would you guys let those tree branch/"Trail Pin Stripes" hold you up from buying the pickup?

Would you guys let these marks keep you from buying the pickup? What if I can get a price drop because of it?

I wouldn't let it stop me from buying the truck even if I couldn't get them to come down on price. But don't let the dealer try and talk you into letting them detail it for you because it will most likely cause you more work in the end. BTW what is the red crap on the back window?
