if youve ever tried to get those nasty bugs off your grill or bumper without scrubbing forever? try this. wet dryer sheets. doesnt matter what brand. little water and the bugs fall off! let me know how it works for you
You can also put a dry one in your hat or on your collar to help keep live knats and skeeters away. Working at the docs, saw all the stevedors using them, finally asked why, they told me, was a non believer, tried it, became a believer. It works.

no problem, RR. I have killed several bugs this week and i am going to try seclineman's technique instead of spending $5 on whatever. I'll be back to this forum frequently to try and cut down hour+ whash time. I'll verify technique and report results.

I've been using the old dryer sheet for a couple of years with no side effects. The front of the truck looks great, no swirls or any marks from using the sheets over and over.

I've seen this mentioned many times to the point that I actually got a dryer sheet, and soaked it in my car wash bucket. It was still way too rough for me to ever scrub my truck with. I'm not saying it doesn't work, but for me there are far safer methods.
Here is an old trick that I've used for years and it costs nothing.
Take a wet towel and lay it on the bug soaked area.
Let it sit 15-30 minutes.
Remove the towel.
All the bugs come off with the towel.
this is what I use. I use it on my bike to peel all the bugs off and clean up the chrome, it really works great on bumpers and stuff, spray on wipe off
