got white paint on black bedrails help?

im not sure which one it is but i got either a water based white exterior paint or a oil based exterior primer on the rails of my truck. now i need some ideas on how to clean it off please. i was told by detail shop, that i will never go to again cause i think they ripped me off but thats a whole nother post, that whatever they would use to take it off could bleach out the the plastic. sounds like bull to me so i thought i would ask the pros.

That may be true. If it's water based, it will take a lot of scrubbing. If it's oil based you may have to use thinner. If it does bleach it out or make them look like crap, you can try Black Wow or Showroom New dye on them. Worst case, just paint them with Krylon Fusion.

Use a pressure washer and be careful not to burn the plastic but i have gotten this kinda thing off plastic trim before. Try not to use chemicals they have a bad affect on the plastic.

Perfect excuse to paint them black. They would have turned white with the sun anyways

I mean, first try scrubbing it off, but if that fails, paint.
