removing emblem glue

Pulled my emblems off only to find that they had been removed before and over the stock double sided tape on the truck they glued the emblem back on with some super duper glue that's not coming off. Any suggestions on what to use to remove this mess on my paint?

Try acetone. If that doesn't work 3M makes an adhesive remover. You can get it at Walmart or Autozone. I have used both on my truck with no problems.

Im in the vinyl graphics field and we take emblems off every time we do a vehicle wrap. we mainly use these three chemicals....1-rapid remover, it is a chemical that has a citrus scent......2-Dupont DX330.....3-ditzo 440...Those are the typical solutions we use on a day to day basis.
Hope it helps.

Used a heat gun and fishing wire on a friend's truck. To take off the damn dealership emblems. It had been put on wrong I guess because you could tell it had old glue underneath. Used the line to remove the emblem and shimmy the glue off. Then some goo-gone stuff for automobiles, scratch-x, and polished it. You couldn't tell there had been an emblem on before.
