I just had some extra cash and didnt feel like waxing and buffing the scratches out for hours so I hired the pros to do it. They did a good job in my opinion. My truck was really dirty and last time offroad I had some real bad pinstriping from trees but they all came out.
What did they do for the engine bay...just hope I don't read another thread from you in a few days talking about how he truck randomly shuts off. Seems to be a common problem for those who wash the engine. I just cannot imagine getting the engine that clean without the use of a lot of water. Can we ask how much it cost and how long it took?

I paid $160 for the full detail. There was 3 guys and it took them about 3 and 1/2 hours.
They got out all the pinstriping except for one deep scratch- One guy buffed it for a good hour.
I drove it around today for a few hours and everything is fine with the engine. I asked him about that and he said you pressure wash it with the engine on and cover the battery. Then he degreases it with the engine off.
