Initial detailing of the truck
Damn this thing has a lot of surface area!
The objective wasn't to get it perfect, there is still A LOT that needs to be done. Windows, wheels, tires, wells, restoring the trim and getting rid of some of the deeper swirling....but this is a start. Unfortunately I won't be able to do what I want this weekend, but she's looking A LOT better.
Will finish the rear portion tomorrow.
How it started
After a pass with white pad and SSR1
Another comparison
After applying Natty's blue, one coat
I still have to do the rear half of the truck.
Easy to see the difference between the bed and the cab (hi-res)

Thanks man. There is still swirling that needs to be removed but it's going to take more time than I have right now. Not to mention I need to get some step ladders so I can get to the top.
I also dragged the wife out to the garage with me so she could appreciate what it takes to truly keep up her toy. Also, to show her how to properly maintain it. She actually got excited about it.
Needless to say, when I told her to look at it in the sun she had a HUGE smile on her face.
Still need to do the fender well trim, but waiting until the Black WOW comes in. APC didn't seem to have much of an affect.
So, onto the final pics.
Step bar before and after. I used PB's APC and a brush to clean the plastic and used a bit of claybar and APC to clean off the rubber/tar that accumulated on the inside of the setup. Seemed to clean up the oxidation as well. Wrapped it up with PB's Black hole.
If it's one thing that irks me about this truck is the water that gets caught in the bed rails and drips down. I'm thinking about lining it with some RTV to prevent this from happening.
The left piece has been cleaned with PB's APC and a plastic brush, the right is what it looked like when removed from the truck.
Before using Diamondite glass restorer and glass cutting pad with PC. Hard to see the etching but should give you an idea.
Final product
