Goodies came in! Q's on trim and hard to reach places

Is there any hope for this trim? Will I have to repaint?

I bought PB's auto trim restorer but I don't think it's going to solve the problem.

how do you guys get into those grooves?

Those channels on the roof need to be done by hand. For the trim, the best thing I've used for trim so far is Black Wow. Applied right it is an excellent product. If you use too much or don't buff it dry you may not have such good results. However, those do look pretty bad and may require a dye. I've never used a dye so I can't comment more on that.

Try Showroom New Restorer before you paint it - it's a very good dye.

All good suggestions by those already...PB TR will work but it will take several applications.

I like to use TR AFTER I have used BlackWow...GLC suggested the ShowRoom Trim Restorer...it also works then you can maintain with wither PB TR or HD.

Several Members have used it with great results. Can pick up at ADS

Thanks for the suggestions!

I used a combo of Zaino and PB's products on my TA with great results, but still feel like a noob at this stuff.

I wanted to stick with one manufacturer this time.

Going to dig in this weekend.

Makina, if your truck is still under manufacturer warranty you can get those flares replaced. Mine werent even that bad and they replaced them free of charge.

It still is, and I was going to try that first.

I was thinking of that last night.

Ill give it a shot. Although I want to try and spruce up the truck first. I figured if I could make the truck look nice and polished it would be hard to argue that something wasn't wrong, and that the truck is well taken care of.

Well, took it to the dealer.

Of course, as I was expecting, they blamed it on something else.

Apparently it's the "soap" that's getting embedded into the trim. Although he didn't seem to have an explanation why the fender well trim was faded differently than the bed trim and the front lower dam.

Naturally if I used their Ford trim restorer it would bring back like new. lol

I don't go to the dealer for much. What does their trim restorer cost? I wonder who makes it for them. I would seriously consider Black Wow. It will clean and protect it. It comes in a rather tiny bottle making it seem retardedly expensive but fear not. A little goes a very long way. It may help to use a cleaner of some sort on them first to remove as much dirt as possible to allow the Black Wow to work better. A heavily diluted APC such as Meg's APC/APC+, Optimum Power Clean, Poorboy's APC, etc should work fine. Looking at your pictures, it looks like you have PBs APC al the way to the left there.

If Black Wow doesn't bring them back, then you will need the Showroom New dye. Try Black Wow on a spot.
