Quick Detailing Question

Is there any issues with using ONR (cut as a Quick Detailer) as clay lube? (In a pinch and really don't want to drive 30 min. to the closest wal-mart to pick up some Quick Detailer)

No issues at all. It's what I use.

ONR works really well as a quick detailer and as a clay lube, it is also very cost effective.

Works great. Personally, I'd dilute it down just a touch past QD strength for cost effectiveness, but if you have the coin to do it at full QD strength, go for it.

Also, depending on what you use for washing the truck, you can use the suds for your lube. I typically use GC wash, which happens to be fine for clay, so I save the QD by claying with my suds after a wash. sometimes, though, I re-do the water depending on what it looks like...

I never really thought of that. I HATE clay bar'ing (I do it every time though), so maybe it will help get through.

P.S. An Excursion is one huge sonofagun!
