spots on body/paint

I have what I thought were just old dried soap spots, but after washing and drying my truck myself I have found these spots wont come off. My paint is fading slightly, and I dont know what these spots are and how to get rid of them. Maybe I just need a new paint job I dont know.

Can you take some pics in direct sun light and post them up. Not having pics your going to get a thousand differnet opinions on what it could be. There is a wealth of knowledge in this section and pics will help us make a correct diagnosis.

x2 on the pics. I would think if it can not be clay bared, it may be causing damage in the clear coat. Cant let soap dry on the paint.
