cleaning chrome wheels...help!

I was just wondering what you guys use to clean your chrome wheels. I had a set of wheels that I always used the Megs hot rims for, however those wheels had a peeling problem. The chrome just started to flake right off. Now, i'm not blaming that on the megs product but i'm not sure that it wasnt the megs product. However, when I had my wheels replaced the guy just said to clean them with the same stuff you wash your vehicle with, is this ok for the wheel? or should i stick with the megs? If there is anything else out there please let me know I open to any ideas. I just dont want to have the same problem with these wheels. Also, can you use the Quick Detailer on your wheels? thanks guys

Just use soap and water. And you can use Quick Detailer on your wheels. Wax them to make it easier on yourself.
