Detailed the truck, again

This time I detailed and paid attention to the points you guys suggested i improve on.

Meguiars Gold Class Wash
#6
#7
#26
Gold Class Wax
Scratch - X (only for a couple of spots.)
Bleche White
Tire Shine

I only have a few pictures, my parents borrowed my good camera, so these are mediocre cell phone shots. I tried to get a shot of the swirls in the paint, I removed most but im still having trouble getting the rest out.

anyways, pictures!

#6 not shown here, just a reflection shot.

the paint is very smooth, and deep. i was pleased with the results.

i used a product i found in our car washing bin, not sure what it was, but it made a large improvement in my plastics. they are now back to a black look, rather than faded. I will be painting them gloss black soon.

(This picture is from a previous detail, showing improvement in the plastics)

Please comment and let me know what i could improve on! You guys were a major help last time

Can't tell from here if the fender wells are clean.

It looks good. As long as you're happy, that's all that matters.

Just curious as to why you topped the gold class over #26?

Why not? I occasionally top my nice stuff with crap stuff to use it up... Or occasionally do an extra 2-3 coats of NXT on top of the usual so that I dont feel bad about throwing it away... LOL!

i just had the gold class and i need to get rid of it. the paint felt thin after the 26 for some reason. i put gold class to make it feel a little better. i dont know i thought gold class was pretty decent stuff its always done pretty good for me

I know they aren't chemically the same formula but aren't gold class and 26 essentially the same product or very close to it?

Not so much...

If my memory serves me, GC has some very light cleaners and fillers (as most A-line products do such that they are more user friendly), and it doesnt last nearly as long.

But they are both a carnauba based wax. Note that neither is pure carnauba or close to it. In fact, #26 has blends of all sorts of waxes, even some synthetic!

There are a few other things, but I cant remember them right now... I'll post back if I remember...
