Showroom New before/after

I finally decided to give my bed caps a little TLC. I have had this showroom new for a while but just havent used it. Anyway, here are the before and after pics.

I cleaned the caps with some APC+ and then applied 3 coats of the Showromm New. After it had dried for 3-4 hours I topped it off with some 303.

Before..............

and after...........

They may not be perfect, but it is an improvement.

Looks good. I just used some on my bed rails today too Except it was getting kinda dark out so I only got a small portion. I think I will take some before and after pictures to add to this as well. I have found that since it is a dye if you apply it heavily in a certain area, it works better because more dye can penetrate the plastic and give it that color. I was trying to spread it all over but when I concentrated it, it looked a heck of a lot better.

What do you guys apply it with. I have been using a terry cloth and it seems that it becomes kinda streaky when it dries (your looks a little streaky but not like what I see) It is definitely a lot more black but I need to find a way to prevent the streeks. I'll get some of my pics up later.
