Need suggestions for detailing products; White car
I'm leaving the GD section to get some suggestions on changing my detail products. I've mainly used Meguiar's products from soap all the way to waxes. I like their 3 step wax, but think I want to try something different.
I'm considering using Klasse polish and sealant, but I'm not sure I want to switch from Carnuba to Synthetic. Is there anything that would be better or easier to use than the Klasse products on a white vehicle? I will be applying everything by hand, so no buffers.
Since I'm chaning "waxes" I'd like to get everything new; soap, clay, cleaners, sealants, waxes, etc... Where is the best place to get a good deal? I'm open to a kit or buying items seprately from different sites. Any suggestions would help. Thanks in advance.

Any of the elders know what I am about to say.....
Use the search feature on the forum. White is discussed here often.
But if you want your truck to pop this is what I would do.....
Here's what I would recommend, mind you I'm nowhere near the knowledge level of the gurus here...
Gold Class Car Wash from Meguiar's
Meguiar's Smooth Clay Kit
Keep the Meg's Step 1&2
Poorboy's White Diamond
Poorboy's EX-P
Meguiar's #16 wax (rare to find and not sold in the US but obtainable through Canadian vendors) or some sort of Carnauba wax such as Mother's
Poorboy's Wheel Sealant on rims
Meguiar's Hyperdressing on tires and trim
These are the steps I will be doing on my truck, however mine is black so I'll be substituting the White Diamond for Poorboy's Black Hole. I also do everything by hand.
I'm sure others will contribute soon! And welcome to the C&D forum!
Thanks for the replies. I've searched extensively on waxes with white vehicles... that's how I found Klasse products. Almost missed the dig on the GD section not being serious. Some aren't that serious, but others are. It's a great place to share views and educate yourself and others about current events.

Its not a dig, its the truth. There are some real experts here with extensive knowledge on proper car care. In the GD, everyone's an expert. Its up the reader to filter the noise. Rockpick is the Mod here and will remove threads that wonder off course.
Back to topic....
As for obtaining product...what state do you live in?
Do you have a DA, PC or Flex?
what pads do you want to use? Megs, LC, Edge, others?
You can do this by hand but you will not get the same results.
depending on where you live there are other shops to obtain such products and get more information.
If you are set on Klasse products, visit Topoftheline's website. Irene is wonderful and will be more than happy to sell products to you.
Klasse products are ok, there are many other products out there. In fact if you do use Klasse products we would expect a full review as there aren't that many folks that use them here.

I live in Arkansas, outside Little Rock. I don't own a DA and don't plan on buying one. Everything will be done by hand. I'm not dead set on Klasse, but have read on here how well it works on white vehicles. If there is something better for white out there I'm open to trying it (I've seen PB's White Diamond mentioned). Autogeek seems to have some good prices, but wasn't sure if there was a better or cheaper place to buy products. It's not that I dislike Meguiars products, but I do think there are better products out there. I'm just looking for better results with some new products.
My opinion? It's more technique than product. You will probably get better results with what you have if you get a DA or a Flex and the right pads for the products.
Car wash is car wash.
Clay is clay, the only difference is aggressiveness.
It's the intermediate steps between that and the LSP that are important. Correction is not easy by hand.

Agreed somewhat. I'm sure there are superior products out there that will outperform many products. I'm looking for superior products; I'm fine with the technique part. There is no doubt that a DA or a flex it would provide superior results, but I'd rather do it by hand. At some point I may change my mind, but for now I'm looking for cleaners, polishes, waxes etc that will give my WHITE vehicle great looking results. Sure the Meguiars products work great, but I'm looking for something better. If there's nothing better out there I'll keep doing what I'm doing and be happy.

Klasse products are not discussed here. Given your other response to GLC, consider this my last post in this thread. Seems you appear to be an expert already. Best of luck.
Post your photos when done.

I've more or less used the second one that RR posted:
Wash
Clay
PB SSR1 (Used Megs #80)
PB PP (Used Megs #7, should have used the Vanilla Moose hand glaze)
EX-P
LSP, C845
3rd and 4th step were done with DA. I have a white Expy, BTW. It must have made a difference since my roommates commented on it. Honestly, though, I think the biggest difference came from the scratch removal step (3rd step.) I didn't take all of them off, but I did get rid of a lot of them. That's probably what made the white look smooth. Then again, I do kinnda like how the Colinite looks on white, though now I wanna give some P21 (I think that's what it's called) a try.
I'll try to see if I took some pictures...
If it's too big, tell me and I'll resize. Yea, sorry, no sun pix. But I did HD the wheel wells. D'oh, don't look at the back rim. Seems a missed a couple spots.

Since you're so big on using the search function... try it yourself. Klasse provided 13 pages of results when i searched. So apparently it is at least being mentioned. Never said I was an expert; I'm looking for suggestions. If you have nothing further to provide or feel I have been direspectful it is your choice to no longer reply. Thanks for your help thus far. I have been fairly specific with my questions. I'd like to try some new products on a white vehicle. If there are products someone has used that they would recommend please do so .

Have you tried steps 3 and 4 without the DA? I'll be appying everything by hand; though not the best method I'm sure, it's the method I'm comfortable with. I've read some on the Colinite as well. It can all get a little confusing on what to switch to. If I win the lottery I could get them all and see which works the best, but until then I'd like to get something and stick with it.
Step 4 I'm sure you could try doing by hand and have no problems, but step 3 (correction)? I don't think much would get done. I did 2 passes on speed 4-5 on the G100 and I still didn't get everything out. Granted, that was my 2nd or 3rd time doing a full detail with the DA, so I still didn't have the technique down (I still don't completely ).
I got the Colinite from a site someone posted here for 14 shipped from http://www.mactecllc.com/. Don't know if it's still that.

If you want to try out the P21 stuff, I just stumbled across this on www.ocdgarage.com:
