Crack in the windshield Need Advice

I live in Mexico and bougt in Walmart in Tx. a kit for repair windshields, It's the Windshiel Saver.

Anybody used before? What kind of results I might spect?

Here we don't have free service from the insurance companies.

If I ask to replace the windshield the company only give me 1 month warranty against leaks, I prefer to keep my original windshield.

TIA!

If it ia a crack you might as well bight the bullet and replace the windshield, if it's just a chip with small cracks coming from it ( a quarter inch or less ) try getting it repaired at a glass shop, They can usually suck out the dirt from the chip and fill it with a resin, it leaves a small smudge looking spot in the windshield but will keep the cracks from running.

I have heard clear nail polish works on chips...seals them up and stops them from spreading.

Be very carful trying to fix your windshield, you can make it worst. Even a glass shop will not guarentee it will not crack when applying the filler.
