Use MaGuire's #9 product, with a yellow application pad (part of accessory kit for -> ), Porter Cable buffer, set on #4 speed?
I think that might be it.
But seriously, asking this question is like asking what is the best Cabernet...everyone has their own opinion.
I currently use: Clay bar...MaGuire's NXT, followed by their #26 carnubia wax.
Rockpick, however, is the God of detailing...do a search on this topic and you'll be reading for days.

First, it sounds like you want to pick the products up locally. That being the case, the product that poolvibe point out............ the Meguiars #9 Swirl Mark Remover might be a good place to start. It sounds like you don't have a PC (Porter Cable buffer), so you'll be doing the polishing by hand. Therefore, the #9 is about as abrasive as you can get by hand with decent results.
The 3M Finish Restorer is an all-in-one product. (cleans/polishes/protects). It's actually pretty decent stuff. However, it won't do much for the swirls, but it will clean the paint nicely. It is also a bit "finicky" to work with. If you want to try a good all-in-one product that can be found locally, I would suggest Meguiar's ColorX.
Hope this helps.

First, you're welcome!
Keep in mind, that the ColorX will not remove/hide swirls like the #9.
As for the wax.............. sure, for a wax that you can pick up locally, Meguiar's NXT, or #26 (or #26 over the NXT) would look great.
Have fun.
