Invinca-shield and others

I was wondering if anybody has any long term experience with this or similar products. Would there be any impact with waxing/polish, etc? Anybody know, RockPick?

I thought about that as well and wondered how noticeable it would actually be. I am thinking standing close to the vehicle you would be able to tell. For the cost I wonder just how easy it would be to install especially with all the curves and indentions on the Lightning front bumper…

There are other's on the forum who had it installed on their trucks. Search in the 2004 F150 section, where I seen the threads. I found 4 threads:

I've got it and love it. Only wish I had installed it sooner. Every new vehicle I purchase will get some kind of the 3M Stochcal stuff. Here is a pic when I put the fender piece on, but not the hood piece yet. When it is clean, you notice the line on the angle in the picture above. It is harder to see standing in front of the vehicle. When it gets dirty or dusty, the line is more noticable. But, I still love it. Have the cab top, hood and fender pieces from Invinca Sheild. There are other companies that sell vehicle specific kits too, Xpel and Ston Gard are also popular.

I did mine in my driveway. Invinca Shield sends installation supplies and instructional video.

I ordered a modified standard kit which is the hood and front corners of the fender. They modified it by making it go straight across the hood instead of a relatively narrow 4" wide piece that follows the front edge of the curved hood. I also got the cab top & ends, and the mirror pieces. IIRC, it was about $125.

Curves/bulges are the hardest to get looking right. It isn't that difficult to do with some patience. If you want an installer, I can ask a friend who paid a local place to install it on his car.
