Keeping a QD in the cab during the summer heat, does it break down the product?

Recently I got to wondering about my habit of keeping a QD in the cab of the truck during the summer months. Does anyone know if the high temps reached while sitting in the parking lot affect the QD? (more specifically Meg's Final Detail?)

Thanks,

I have researched the Final Detail MSDS and have no good answer. I, too, carry a bottle of FD in my truck (in the console) and I know it gets pretty hot. I have noted that FD will have a very light orange/yellow sheen on the top of the bottle that quickly disipates after shaking the bottle back up. I haven't been able to correlate this occurance to heat however. In fact, I have noticed this on the two one-gallon jugs that I have in my garage that sit on concrete which is, undoubtedly, cool. Long story short, I've had no problems.

I think that QD sprays are no exception to the 'shake well before using' rule...

I doubt chemically it will alter Final Detail at all. Temps when chemicals start to change are usually pretty high. Just shake it up before use.

Roger that. If RP and Intel say its problably ok, then in my book you can bet the farm that it's "ok" .

Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about him just yet. He's only got 2 gallons.

2 gallons of FD... I didn't mention the other 19 gallons of 'stuff' I have sitting on the garage floor (Citri-Gel, APC+, APC+ and the list goes on...).
