Truck Cover

I bought a new vehicle and am now officially gonna rest my truck and only use it on weekends and to pull the seadoos.

Being that it's gonna be out because it doesn't fit in my garage I need to buy a Truck cover. Anyone know where to find a good quality and price cover??

Please provide any links to help me purchase asap. I couldn't find any other side other than truck add ons.com and theirs is $160...is that average?

As is true with most things, you can go 'all-out' or you can go with an average product.

My hunch is that the $160 one would be 'upper average' based on the one that I bought from CoverCraft a few years ago. That cover, made of Technalon Fabric, was around $300 and was, at the time, considered to be the #2 cover on the market. The newest, latest, greatest, I believe, is the NOAH Fabric. It's pricey but, from what I hear, it's TOP NOTCH.

Check out www.covercraft.com for what you may need... then, I'd suggest going through someone else to buy it as they will be the most expensive. www.truckininstyle.com might sell them... I'm not sure.

Good luck!

Not sure on their pricing, but here is another site to check out:

http://www.carcoverstore.com/

Like anything else, don't scrimp when it comes to a cover. A bad cover can cause scratches, and actually wear paint right off if the cover moves against the paint.

Okay....so I checked out carcoverstore.com's truck cover WEATHERSHIELD HD (custome fit) and resulted with this $660.90
Part # C15225HG.

That's kinda pricey don't ya think? They can at least make it a lifetime warranty product!

I have a CoverIt for my truck, same problem...too big for the garage!! They are on the higher end of cost but they are quality covers. Had mine for 7 years (only used for 4...in storage for 3) Anyhow been in use for the 4 years and still holding up. Has withstood winds in excess of 90mph, and snow loads of up to a foot (I keep it cleared off so it doesn't build up more than that). Highly recommend!!

Check with a company called California Car Cover...I receive their catalogue from time to time.

http://www.calcarcover.com/

I bought their (then) top of the line truck cover, custom fit to my F-150 3 years ago. The cost was around $220.00 and it has proven to be a great cover. Thick (hail resistant) and soft. They also have new, more expensive covers now.

I could've sure used a 'hail resistant' cover back in 1999 when we had SOFTBALL sized hail in Bowling Green, Kentucky. Of course, NO COVER would've protected against something like that... the local Wal-Mart had HOLES in the roof where hailstones went STRAIGHT THROUGH! Talk about wild...
