Question Kick Panel Removal Question

I've got a @&#!% rattle that's driving me bonkers behind the kick panel under the dash (at your feet and to the side) on the passenger side of my 02 Screw. Does anyone know if this panel just pops off and on? Do I have to take the step panel/strip off to get the kick panel off? I didn't see any screws anywhere and didn't want to just start yanking on it. Thought someone might have had this thing off at some point.

If memory serves me right, you have to remove the entry plate (the one with FORD on it). It pops straight up and off with snap clips. Then, that will allow you to pop off the kick panel and, again, it pops in there with snap clips. Just pull straight back towards the pedals/center of the truck.

There are no screws or other mounting hardware other than the clips.

Cake... no problem at all.

Thanks Rock. I'll try it tonight (hopefully without breaking anything).

piece of cake...

RockPick is right, if you remove the door sill first, the kick panel pops right off... Be careful though the little grabbers that keep the thing in place are pretty sharp and can tear right through the plastic.

FYI...
