Anyone Bought a Wireless Air Card Yet?

I just picked up one of these and it is fanfrikkintastic.

Sierra Wireless Aircard 595U USB

For any of you that don't have access to high speed internet, this thing will be your new best friend.

Our house is located in the High=speed void. We get nothing here except dial-up at a blistering 44.0 Kbps

Not sure how many of you can relate to how slow that is, but let me tell you.
There's no downloading music, porn, movies, nada.
Basically you open a webpage, and go do something else for a minute or 2 until it opens.

It's been like this for 2 years for us, you tolerate it reluctantly, but you never get used to it.

A Telus dealer loaned me the AIRCARD for a night just to see, and OMFG, I finally feel liberated.

It's pricey as heck ($75 a month for the data plan + $6.95 system access fee + 75 cents 911 + tax) but I'm happy to pay it to get decent speeds again.

The nice thing about it is you can use it anywhere you get regular cell service from Telus.

It just plugs into the USB port, and you have instant connection, it really is that simple.

Here's a photo, if anyone has any questions about it, I'll be happy to answer them.

Yeah I've had one from Sprint for about two months now. It's nice having the Internet everywhere I go. I think Verizon has a little bit cheaper deals than what you posted above.

I think I've read how some of you guys south of the border are paying like 60 bucks a month for unlimited.

Anyway, they always put the screws to us up here, but I'm just happy to have it.

I wonder if there's a way to hook up my PS3 to it, know what I mean?

Check out the link in the last post of this thread, it might help?
Anyone using an Aircard in their laptops?
