you know the place that sells home furnishings/appliances and stuff you need for renovating etc.. I have only seen the commercials on TV.
It sounds like kind of a Costco thing where you buy a membership. I contacted them and you have to set up a meeting with them to go through their warehouse but I haven't had time to go their yet. I will be in the market for all new appliances, building a deck, finishing a basement, a yard etc....
I have not gone through their membership program but a friend of mine did. He did some research and their prices are really rather low compaired to the other big box stores you can go to, the only catch is that their membership price is a LOT...so unless you are planning on spending a lot of money it probably is not worth joining. The other thing I found out is that if you don't join on the day of the membership orientation, you will not be able to re-apply for membership for I think it was about 3 years.? I could be wrong on the number of years...
Iv got a membership but i just built a house and am planning a couple more so it was worth it for me, but the saving are worh t if you can off set the 4500 membership
no that was not a typo 4500 member fee pays you up for 3 years then 100 a year to keep going, having just built a house I saved more then enough to pay for the membership twice over, but for some one not looking to purchase ALOT of stuff there is just no way it makes any sense. And some thing really are not any savings ie. electronics there is just not enough markup on items that are typically replaced in under 5 years
