Hey I'm pro-flames as well. Hell I'm pro-any Canadian team winning back our cup. I really respect the flames, they're a hardworking team and they have a captain with some ***** that isn't afraid to drop the mitts when the situation warrants

Anyways, thought i'd clear that little misunderstanding up. Canucks games are great to go to vancouver for because its a bit closer than the Saddledome...

True! I must say i do like the Canucks. A very consistent team. I dread when the flames play them though haha!

I'll be honest, I despise the Canucks, well mostly Matt Cooke and the Sedine sisters
Sister'n'law is huge Canucks fan so we always have a fun rivalry.
Luongo is awesome though, just wish he played for the Oilers, but I wouldn't tell her that.

we kinda hi-jacked the thread, oops, but what's a Canadian conversation if it doesn't end in either the weather or hockey

I recieved this e-mail the other day. I t goes along with the recent theme here.

There is, however, one exception. Susie has not gone along with the crowd.
The teacher asks her why she decided to be different. "Because I'm not an Oilers fan" she responds.
"Then," asks the teacher, "what are you?"
"I'm a Calgary Flames Fan" boasts the little girl. The teacher asks Susie why she is a Flames Fan. "Well, my Dad and Mom are Flames Fans, so I'm a Flames Fan too" she responds.

"That's no reason," the teacher says. "What if your Mom was a moron, and your Dad was an idiot? What would you be then?"

Susie smiles and says, "Then I'd be an Edmonton Oiler fan."
