hire a pickup truck

Hi

Can someone please help me. We are going to Toronto in June and it would make my Husbands trip(if not his year) if we could hire a pick up truck for our stay. I can get some quotes but they say I can't book till nearer the time. I can't seem to get anyone at the airport to rent me one though!!!

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I think your gonna have to just rent one, probably less than a $100/day and you won't have to be concerned about the condition of the truck, if you scratch it, who cares right and you and the person renting it will have the proper insurance in case something major happens.

By the way and no offense intended, and yes I maybe an ***, but what you are asking is a little unrealistic, I can't see anyone renting their $40000+ truck to anyone else, or even a $20000+ truck, maybe lend it to good friends or family, but to a stranger, yah right. Maybe someone will offer a beater of sorts, but then your liable to get stuck on the side of freeway somewhere. Good luck.

There's a company in Alberta called "Visa Truck Rental", but I don't know if they are in T.O. Or maybe "Rent-A-Wreck"

There is a truck renter in Toronto near the airport called Somerville. They will rent you any type of truck you want.
web address: www.somervilleauto.com

Good Luck

Hey, before taking any decision, talk with the service provider about their services and costs. We had hired a pick up truck five months before from Icefields Paramedic Services Ltd. The guys were better than other companies we had experienced before. The costs was reasonable.
