If you count B.C. as "1", Alberta as "2", Saskatatchewan as "3", Manitoba as "4", Ontario is "5". Since we have 10 provinces and 2 Territories, the dividing line between East and West following the above logic is the border between Ontario and Quebec. Newfoundland and Labrador are 1, Prince Edward Island "2", New Brunswick "3", Nova Scotia "4", and Quebec is "5".

Although the logic is sound, Ontario is still considered east. You fellow canadians out west have the best part of Canada in my opinion, I love the Canadian Shield of Northern Canada, spend most of my vacation time in the North, and I love the beauty of the mountains in Alberta. Spent time on Vancouver Island in 2001 and did some salmon fishing. Really beautiful out there. Won't be able to get back there until 2006, when I retire.

And by the way, I live in Scarborough, just to the east of Toronto, known as the mistake on the lake, (Because of its size). I hate it hear. When I retire, going to move to Sudbury area.

Serge, You are right, I forgot!!!

Keep thinking about it as the North West Territories. Wish I had some land up there, apparently diamonds have been found up there!

If there is one mine, there will be others.

I bought my truck at McPhillips Ford, which as you might know closed for good on Jan. 22.
If I had known a year ago that they would be closing, I would have bought my truck someplace else. I hate spending money someplace and then have them go out of business. Now I have to find another dealer to get my service done. Not a big deal but now I have to build that relationship all over again.

I'm going to try Parkside, I've got an appointment next week for an oil change.

What about you Serge?
