What I did.

I got a loan for 45K, looked online at dealership inventories in my area. Found the truck I wanted for 45,715. Called the dealer, told him I'd give him 37K for it cash. Got a yes from him, proceeded to get pricing for the extras I wanted, ie. remote start, guardian package, and bug shield, which he said would bring it back to 39k. Told him I'd give him 37,750 and got an ok. Drove away the next day with my brand new 2006 F150 King Ranch which hadn't even been test driven by anyone since it only had 8 miles on it, which is for factory testing.
