Is this a good deal?

It's time to trade, at least I hope. I'm looking at couple trucks at a local dealer and wondering if I'm getting a good deal. Thanks to a member here I have an x-plan pin which Iplan to use.

There are $3,500 in rebates are available in my area:
Cash-back: 2,000
Ford Credit rebate: 1,000
Home depot cash in lieu of offer: 500

1. F-150 5.4L Lariat 4x4 Scab SS 6 1/2' Box
MSRP: 38,185
X-Plan: 33,279
Rebates: 3,500
Total: 29,779

2. F-150 5.4L FX4 4x4 Scab FS 6 1/2' Box
MSRP: 36,525
X-Plan: 32,201
Rebates: 3,500
Total: 28,701

I've read here that there is supposedly a dealer incentive for $1245 cash discount on verhicles with the 5.4, Trailer Tow Package, and Limited Slip option which the Lariat has, but I can't find any "official" documentation about it.

I've read here that folks are getting 8500+ off MSRP on the lariat, but 8400 seems to be the best I can do.

Any suggestions?

Pricing

Saw an AP story on the web Tues night (July 5). Effective Wednesday, July 6, Ford will offer something called the "Ford Family Plan". Essentially it's their version of GM's employee pricing deal that expired July 5th. Ford's new program will run until Aug. 1.
Haven't been able to find out if the F150s are included or not in this. Am assuming that this would be better deal than present discounts.
If they are WOO-HOO!
(note, looks like Dodge is following suit on this too)

Awesome!

Yes, that is excellent news! If it not were for the fact that the salesman at the stealership that I was going to purchase from pissed me off I would already have signed a deal by now. Looks like I will be able to save about an additional $1,400 or so!

Is this 'family plan' Ford is running really the A-plan? I have bought throught the A-plan before and it is a great thing to have. The final price will usually end up around $1200 under invoice. X is good, but A/Z(retired) is better!
